Gluten-Free, Not Taste-Free

Brunehaut Amber

Beer is something that anyone of legal drinking age should be able to enjoy. Yet for too long our brothers and sisters living with gluten intolerance either had to drink gluten-free brews that were beer in name only or worse yet, forgo beer all together.  But Belgian brewer Brunehaut is coming to the rescue.

Brunehaut’s Bio line of beers proves that just because a beer is gluten-free doesn’t mean that it has to be taste-free. But don’t just take our word for it (although, come on, when have we steered you wrong?), the US Open Beer Championships gave Brunehaut both the Gold (Bio Amber) and Silver (Bio Blonde) in its inaugural Gluten-Free category last year. In addition to these two award winning brews, the Brunhaut Bio line also includes a White beer.

On top of being gluten-free, Brunehaut is also certified organic and one of the most environmentally aware brewers in the business. It was the first European brewery to export its beer in recycled kegs and also the first to grow its own barley and wheat.

We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be introducing Brunehaut’s entire Bio line to the Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Columbus markets this February. So be on the lookout; you won’t want to miss these unique beers!
